We were watching the basketball game tonight and I thought about the above quote. I mentioned this to an ex-student of ours. I think this is really true. There are so many moves that can be made but you have to think like a chess player and plan your moves.
We have been doing this in anticipation of when this process is over. All of the things we will need, how our lives will change, what books the kids will read... I think you can imagine some of the conversations. ;-)
